Update, I started taking cuttings today and also got photos of leaves..      

So I'm a fig stalker and I know it.... so i haven't been keeping my eye out and have a few trees I have been watching. I had decided to wait till the tree were in fig so i'd have a chance to see what kind they are when I talked to the owner...
There was this nice really large one by and old barn and all of a sudden signs went up announcing a new development was going in where is farm was. I decided to contact the developer and he was very nice gave me the green light to take what I wanted from the tree....
I figured I'd give it a shot and offer cuttings to anyone that wanted to pay postage...
All I really know is it is unprotected and big.... might be a chance to try your rooting skills on a non rare tree.

You need to give it a provisional name so we can talk about it.

Red Barn UNK, most likely Red Barn Brown Turkey.... but the farm's original owners are gone....

maybe it will turn out to be something interesting.

Update talked to the land owner today, they are working to get the squatters out and not to worry i will be able to get to the tree, turns out he is a fig lover and says I can take as much as I want once it is safe..
