Wish mine could look half that! I get many,many, figs. Possibly a dozen get ripe. The majority stay green and never reach the potential of the bush ,I took the branches from. I feed them in Fall, Spring and early summer.

Come on the branches,I believe there are too many leaves to let the sun inside to ripen the fruit! I wonder always what am I doing wrong. The bush this came from use to give the owner bags of figs yearly.
I believe I'm in Zone 6, New Jersey...

Jo, it's probably not a good idea to feed your fig in the fall and what you do feed it at other times *may* be related to why you don't get fruit.  Why don't you start a new thread about your fig so we don't hijack this one.
