I got 2 cutting of Violet de Bordeaux on Jan. 16 2013 from a very good member.  One started right away. The other on Feb.19 I re-potted it into a 20 oz. cup with the same 50/50 mix. About a 2 weeks ago leaves show up. Today July 5, 2013 I put it in to a pot. Here are some picture
in the 20 oz. cup,
with the first starting
and re-potted

The third picture is exactly how my UCD Violet de Bordeaux is growing.  I think it has a different growth habit than Negronne even if they are suppose to be the same.
