Thanks guys. Until its properly I.D. I'm calling it "Portuguese Black and Tan". Its a large semi-sweet fig with a light nutty note. It is a unique tasting fig with leaves and fruit production amounts very similar to Black Madeira. I think originally it may have been a seedling from a BM due to the similarities, but that is just a guess. I was hoping Francisco could offer some help with I.D since he knows a lot about the Portuguese varieties.
