Has anyone had any experience/knowledge of this fig?

$42 usd is a lot for 1 cutting. Looks Iike random B roll (stolen google pics). Looks very sketchy.

I would not purchase without a picture of the fruit from the variety being sold.

If it's a black parthenocarpic fig with 2 crops, it could be Aghoedan (Ghouddane). Ao-gol-uden sounds like Aghoedan. 

I am not in any way saying this seller is dishonest but he claims the figs are the size of large oranges. This is not reflected in the pictures so on that alone 

I'd bail.

Kelo, this is again the same seller that sells Desert King as a Moroccan Fig. I would absolutely avoid her. I suggest you wait till autumn and buy from Mr Pons.
