AKHTAR FROM MANCHESTER UK

Hi Akhtar, welcome to the forum, this is a great place to learn,I'm new as well, been on here since earlier this year and already learnt a lot.I might be able to help you with Green Ischia next year,my Green Ischia were only rooted this year(rooted this Autumn now in pots).

Do you have any fig trees growing yet?,this is a great time of year to exchange with other member or practice rooting with cuttings from trees you find locally.if you have varieties to share, now is a good time,or you can pick up deals from nurseries(sales). Many of the varieties you name in your wish list are US specific, harder to obtain over here.If you search for UK nurseries in the search function I'm sure a lot of good sources have been posted about before.

Welcome to the forum! You'll find lots of helpful advice here and friendly people.

Thanks Haroon and arachyd for your kind words.
Haroon i have few varieties that have started rooting (BT,Mission and two unknown)
I know these varieties are hard to find in the Uk but i have just started lets see how it goes.
I will grow them here in manchester in Green House and back home. Where the summer is very hot like Phoenix,AZ.

Welcome to the forum Akhtar

It sounds like you are well on your way.Nothing's impossible when it comes to figs, where there is a will there is a way.Ive just managed to kill my Mission cuttings :(,if you end up with a spare Mission plant is happily swap it for a spare Green Ischia plant if it survives the winter in doors,PM me if interested, where is back home for you brother? What variety are you growing in your homeland?.The best way to get the most out of the forum is sharing, when you share others will prove happy to reciprocate

Hi Haroon
Back home is Pakistan where i am already growin BT,Panache and Palmata.
I would be happy to swapp with you Mission cuttings.

I will be in Pakistan in March visiting my wife's family there and I'm going to keep my eyes peeled for fig trees, especially native Palmata. You should be able to ripen some awesome figs in Pakistan.
