Hello all. I am new to the forum and just wanted to introduce myself. My name is John and I live in upstate NY. This year is my first trying to grow my own figs. As a kid I remember going to my grandmothers house in NYC and picking fresh figs off the 2 trees she had in her backyard. Needless to say there has been about a 30 year gap since then. I have a Hardy Chicago so far for my first fig tree. I can't wait!

Hi John...welcome to the Forum...that Hardy Chicago is a great tree for colder climates(upper N.Y. state)...you will soon be adding tree after tree to your collection...good luck with your figs, and have a great growing season.
