Jesse,
You know that is a tough one.
"Many" people now have cuttings of it growing, or at least had the opportunity to.
It produced such and abundance, of large green, very juicy fruit that many of my fig loving friends and family got a nice figs fix every August and looked forward to it as much as I did. A lot of others ate their very first fresh fig picked from this tree. For some it was an instant love. Other it took more than a few figs over a couple seasons, and then they were hooked.
I am truly going to miss it. Every year my mouth starts watering in anticipation, as it comes alive putting on hundreds of new figs for another season.
I do have trees in pots ready to go. They will be stored at my daughters until we have a permanent location.
We just want to get reestablished somewhere that I can put them in the ground.
We move the 1st week in June and haven't got a clear idea where that will be. Some place temporary when the time comes.
The housing market in insane here, with bidding wars going on.
