Niagara Black pics

My first Niagara Black.
I picked this one about a month ago.
It didn't have much flavour but it had to be picked early because it was splitting.

Congrats nice looking fig!
How old is your tree?

A nice longish type fig.

Hi,
Your tree being in weak shape - no big leaves on the pics ... It doesn't help.
Niagara black being in the long d'aout family, you should pot her up, and you'll get to taste the best fig one can have !
This year, some of my lda have honey dripping through the eye, and they are really good ( and have lots of big leaves :) ) .

Looks like a breba Sammy?? The brebas on NB are huge and I've heard not as tasty as the main crop.

Nice fig.
Got some cuttings last year thru 2 kindly members Johnparav and Masterful they are about a meter tall now with green  figs size of a nickel.
I know this fig season is late allready but, after seeing your pictures of them I`m impatient to get a taste of them next season. They look very nice and good. Big too.
Thanks for sharing.

Pino, the tree is in it's fourth year.

Jdsfrance, that little twig was a sucker. The tree is actually bigger. Any fig that ripens outside here is a keeper for me. Can't wait for a fully ripened one!

Tyler, That's probably what it was as it came pretty early.
