Nonna's Fig

Does anyone else have this fig or know if it was every identified?  It was an Italian unknown that was passed out on garden web about 6-7 years ago. I don't know who many people got. Its a good fig and productive, maybe a bit small. Any info from anyone who still has this tree is appreciated. I linked the original topics below.

MBVS FAMILY BUT LOOKS ROUNDER & YET BETTER
I guess the leaves are the same or similar. Like it.

The taste is goodZ the color may be a little lighter then it could be. I'm still a bit shaded in the backyard.

I have a huge lob lolly pine to cut down. 3 foot wide trunk. A good 75 to 100 foot tall. I am afraid to cut it. Lol. It huge. Stealing all the 12 clock sun

Yes Richie , another Mt Etna type fig ! MBVS , Hardy Chicago types . Very reliable and tasty! Best in the ground if you can put it in there and protect it.

Hi,
Could you put a ruler next to it in '' or cm.
The reason I ask, is because I'm waiting on the tiniest fig on earth to ripen ( the strain is so - they all are tiny - they are white/yellow ), and since you claim that this one is small ... Lets see who has the tiniest (LOL ... ) .

Richi, I cut down over 20 trees on .39 of an acre. My neighbors have lots of trees too, so this is the best I can do until they start taking down trees. I get way more sun then before though...

JF they are not that tiny, just a bit smaller then usual figs, but it may just be the conditions.

Lars, thank you for the input.

Hi marcus.
I still have the white fig from madelaine, the dark one didn't make it, I gave one of the dark one to my friend and he still has it,I'll ask him about the fig and see what he says.
Vito

Thanks Vito! It's a good tasting fig, but it seems to be similar to many other known figs.

Glad to see some of our friends are getting ripe figs. Mine are all water balloons. Still raining. May need to find a ark
