Does anyone else have this fig or know if it was every identified? It was an Italian unknown that was passed out on garden web about 6-7 years ago. I don't know who many people got. Its a good fig and productive, maybe a bit small. Any info from anyone who still has this tree is appreciated. I linked the original topics below. http://forums.gardenweb.com/discussions/1898130/my-two-mature-figs http://forums.gardenweb.com/discussions/1896819/mimis-cuttings#6678718

The taste is goodZ the color may be a little lighter then it could be. I'm still a bit shaded in the backyard.

Yes Richie , another Mt Etna type fig ! MBVS , Hardy Chicago types . Very reliable and tasty! Best in the ground if you can put it in there and protect it.

Hi, Could you put a ruler next to it in '' or cm. The reason I ask, is because I'm waiting on the tiniest fig on earth to ripen ( the strain is so - they all are tiny - they are white/yellow ), and since you claim that this one is small ... Lets see who has the tiniest (LOL ... ) .

Richi, I cut down over 20 trees on .39 of an acre. My neighbors have lots of trees too, so this is the best I can do until they start taking down trees. I get way more sun then before though...
JF they are not that tiny, just a bit smaller then usual figs, but it may just be the conditions.
Lars, thank you for the input.

Thanks Vito! It's a good tasting fig, but it seems to be similar to many other known figs.
