Hi everyone,

I was wondering if there are any very nice fig collections/nurseries in Italy?

Are you looking for organizations/foundations that are maintaining/restoring Italian fig collections or somewhere to buy Italian fig trees?

There is a priest somewhere in Reggio Calabria has a collection of old breeds of Italian livestock  and fruit trees.  My nephew knows him so I'll try to find out more.  When my daughter visited there 10 years ago she was only interested in his animals, specifically the spectacular Girgantana / Agrigento  goats. She didnt even look at the fruits.  Now that I remember this, I'm eager to find out about his trees.

Thanks so much for all the great resources! I was looking for all of the above. My main intention was to learn more about any reputable fig collectors there.

Luke,

Your link goes to a Google document, but nowhere from there. Who is Lidia and how do we reach her?
