I picked some nice size Nordland the other day. It is a nice size fig with really good flavor. 
Any other growers who has it agree?

don't know about the outside.. but that inside looks amazing. i had my last fig last night.. i'm going to miss this season.. sigh

It is a great fig. The one main that ripened this year was around 100 grams. My neighbor ate it before any pics could be taken.  She said it was excellent.

Mine actually became very red.

It's a good-looking fig but hard to gauge size without something of a known scale to compare it to.

I am getting a vagal response to the photo that will require a bib.

I just picked another Nordland. The plant was productive in its first year and offered the minimum requirements of a great tasting fig. The eye was wider than usual on this fig after more than a week of wet weather, but did not split.
The Nordland brings back memories of those best tasting figs that I've had while growing up without knowing their names.
It has a permanent place in my humble collection.
