Anyone know of a fig which produces orange figs? Self fertile hopefully. No reason other than my addiction, I take it this is an understanding forum.
I've got an unknown that produces Orange figs
Awesome. Would you by chance want to offer a cutting once dormant? Glad to pay for shipping. Thanks
I would be more than happy to provide a cutting, though I will probably need a reminder come October/November. Also if you want a look see of it's appearance you can check my previous posts
Also if you have any cuttings to throw my way that'd be greatly appreciated
Absolutely. October comes we can swap some cuttings. Thanks
Hi BC, I couldn't resist responding to your post. Not sure exactly what you mean by orange figs but I have several figs with orange/reddish/brown tone?I find many breba producing figs have this color tone. The main crop fig tesnd to be darker. Here are a few breba figs;
Grise Olivette is Red but is Bronze if ripened in part shade.

Hi Pino, Thanks for your reply. I wanted to see if anyone knows of a fig that is colored orange. You have a couple of beauties. Where did you get the dolce bruno?
"Madeleine des deux saisons" grows orange figs. It's a dwarf tree that only grows to about 3-5 ft tall, I currently have two growing in 24" pots in my backyard. They grow very slowly but it's well worth the wait!
