With my fig order I received 7 varieties of Apricots. They were all chosen for there taste and different colors they will provide to the tree. One is a white apricot, two are yellow with blush, and the others are orange of which some will blush. They will also be different shaped fruit. This will make for a vary unique tree. I hope the grafts take. I will be starting tomorrow. I have a tree that my son will be learning to graft on. There is nothing better than sharing a love for gardening and being outdoors with my son. It gets him unplugged from his games and teaches him something useful. Wish us luck.

Apricot grafts will take better if temps are 70 F or warmer, similar to peaches.
I'm halfway through my spring bench-grafting run- 200 down, 300 more to go.  Mostly apples, some pear and a few plum.
