I was reading up on the NY Post and found this article:

I never knew figs could be so insulting:

2. The fig. A clenched fist with your thumb between your first and second fingers means “screw you” (to put it mildly) in Turkey, Russia, and Indonesia. And in some countries it symbolizes lady parts. You know what I mean.

I learned alot of new things i can use on my friends here in the usa. They will just think i lost my mind!! I really wonder in greece if shaking your head left to right means yes and up and down is no.
