I just got a package of scion from England's Orchard. He included a package of Illinois Everbearing mulberry scion, which I already have. I will send it to the first person to reply by PM, for the cost of shipping. __________________ USDA Zone 5b, Sunset 2b Looking for: Becane, Dalmatie, Doree, Florea, Hanc's EBT, Italian 258, LaRadek's EBT, Longue d'Aout, Marseilles White , Negronne, Nordland, Sal's EL, Strawberry Vert, ...anything cold hardy and short season. (Willing to pay for cuttings)

I have a Pakistan Mulberry and an Illinois Everbearing. Of the two, only the latter is on grafted root stock. That's the way I usually see that variety sold. Any idea what differences one should expect when growing a rooted cutting versus a cutting grafted onto root stock? __________________ Paul the Fig Tree Destroyer in Fallbrook, CA (Zone 10A )

mulberry cuttings are hard to root. it's possible, but grafting is easier way. i heard bottom heat helps. i killed all my mulberry cuttings last yr. __________________ Pete Durham, NC Zone 7b "don't talk to me about naval tradition.
