Born in Los Angeles, Ca 65 years ago.. WOW..seems like yesterday!! ha!! lol...lived in los angeles, moved to santa fe springs, ca  went into US AIR FORCE 16TH SOS SQUADRON UBON, THAILAND 68 THROUGH 69 1 1/2 YEARS ACTUALLY.. GUNSHIPS AC130A  Came home, lived in Buena Park, Ca Moved to Texas been here ever since.. I LOVE FIGS PERIOD!!! HERE IS A PICTURE OF THE WIFE AND I ABOUT 5 YEARS AGO..DONNA & VIC.jpg SHE IS THE LOVE OF MY LIFE.  I STARTED MY FIG ADVENTURE ABOUT 1 1/2 MONTHS AGO AND NOW HAVE PLANTED OVER 65 FIG TREE'S.... I STILL HAVE 4 LARGE TREE'S IN THE GARAGE TO PLANT AND SPROUTING ABOUT 25 MORE IN GARAGE ALSO... wish list:  nothing. i can't grow cuttings  . right now, i have  6 trees showing no signs of fmv. i'd like to keep it that way' 

i was told that if i couldn't deal with fmv, i should grow peaches, so i got a peach tree to live with my clean figs.

This pic is a few years old. I am uglier and fatter now. The guy with me is a "babol," they dot the hillsides in Kyrgyzstan. No one really knows for sure what they are, maybe gravestones, maybe markers of where a battle took place.
