Peter's Honey?

Anyone have a PH for sale? Cuttings or small plant? Adding to my collection as a newbie, thought this would be a great addition. Thank you to all members past and present for all your advice and assistance, much appreciated. Have a great day!

Do you mean Peter's Honey ? Another name of it is Kadota and it's available at EL: http://ediblelandscaping.com

One green world also has Peter's honey. I got a tiny gallon plant from them this spring and it is now 5 feet tall and full of figs.

peters honey is also known as peter's honey , kadota is also known as dottato but that's another story and another fig. similar but different.

So is Kadota and Peters honey the same or are they different?

Different, although they are similar. Peters Honey Fig was originally from Sicily, brought by Peter Dana of Portland, OR.

Sid Hanson posted here somewhere: "Peter's Honey is consistently sweet and tolerates the rain better than Kadota. Kadota seems to taste best when it has a large strech of hot dry weather. Peter's Honey is more reliable under adverse weather from what I have seen. I have been growing them both for 7 years.  Peter's Honey has lighter shade of green leaves and a larger pool of syrup in the center of the fruit."

It's not the same as Kadota!

I have a large tree in-ground that I will be pruning this winter (January). If you haven't gotten it by then, feel free to contact me for cuttings.

I have about 50 each of Kadota and Peter's Honey.

They taste different as well. Peter's Honey is pure sugar sweet. Kadota has a little bit of a aftertaste like brown sugar. I like Peter's Honey better. It is hard to imagine a fig being sweeter than Peter's Honey.
