Hi guys any one know anything about this fig I see some for sale on eBay but never herd of it.

Mine is a green fig with a red center.

Dennis... I think yours are the images that i have seen before for the variety. The ones from the Google link don't look like the same variety... Not sure if I recall someone saying that LDA and Lungo De Portugallo were similar. I haven't seen fruit of either first hand so....

The seller claims they go purple to almost black when ripe.

I have a Portogallo from that supplier that I bought last summer. It is doing well and has about 4 figs this year. It started with more but has thinned them itself. I will let you know when they ripen what they are like.

I also have Signora, Flat and a couple of other varieties from them. The Signora and Flat have figs on too. The plants that I have bought from that company were quite small when they arrived but very healthy and they have all grown fast once I moved them to bigger pots. I would definitely buy again from them.

Yeah thanks keep me posted I have ordered one it will be interesting how it turns out and tastes.
