I just rooted the cutting shown below, about ten days ago. It was a few inches over five feet long. As you can see, it is leafing out well...
Because our humidity is abt 10% here, I wrapped the branches and trunk in parafilm, and cut the leaves off, (leaving the petiole attached to the branch) to preserve moisture. Then I just stuck it into a 5-gal tube of moist 5-1-1 and attached a support stick.
