Kudos to you Grant. Nice giveaway. Glad to see a fellow Kentuckian will be receiving this one :). Good for you Wendy. The "Happy Dance" made me chuckle.

I'd like to know more about these Cyprus figs Grant. Would also like to get one going myself. Would be happy to work out some sort of trade if you're interested. Please shoot me an email if you'd like to talk it over.

Hey Grant,

Wanted to let you know the Cypress fig trees are happy and growing new leaves in their Kentucky home.

I appreciate your spirit in trying to bring some common courtesy and civility to this forum. You are a stand up guy!

Know your support of James has changed due to frustration. Wish that wasn't so, but it is what it is.

Wishing bountiful harvest to everyone this year and fig trees in the mail eventually.  PeaceSign.jpg

I love the power of positivity. I have a new offer of this positivity for the forum. I have four, second year paw paw trees and a rooted second year fig tree ( raspberry latte) to send on my dime to anyone who can guess my favorite Pittsburgh Steelers player of all time. The first person who guesses correctly will receive four, second year paw trees and a raspberry latte fig tree to their shipping address. I hope our forum will revert to a more, focused view of learning and sharing information about growing figs. I started reading threads on this forum in 2012. I learned a lot and still feel that this forum is very useful to new growers as well as veteran growers.

I'll throw a guess out there.....Hines Ward!

Dang! Stekewood. You win! That was pretty fast. PM me your address and I will send you the trees. I honestly wasn't thinking anyone would guess that quickly. I guess I'll have to come up with something more difficult in the future.

Quite the offer, Bill! Is it Hines Ward?

Edit: ROFL. Somoene guessed before me!

Ha! Awesome! I was just telling my family that I was going to guess Hines Ward and they all said to go with Lynn Swann. They're cracking up right now! Sorry for ending your game so quickly but your kindness is much appreciated. I'll send you a PM. Thanks

Ross,
PM me your address and I'll get one of the Paw Paws to you when they get here.

Hey, stekewood. I'm not that old for Lynn swann, but man, could Hines jack up some folks. This did not go down as I envisioned. Good on you.

Now that is what I am talking about guys! Caring and sharing...you guys are awesome!!! Thanks for continuing the generosity Bill and thanks for sharing stekewood.

We should have more of these to boost up moral on this forum!!! I am always late to a good party though so I will probably never benefit from it but I'm sure it changes the mood and tone of this forum. Congrats to the winner!!!!
