root them now ???

i expect to receive several cuttings soon, should i root them now or store them until spring ?

I say root them now.

I would stick them in the soil now and keep them near a sunny window or under light indoors before the freeze. Keeping them as cuttings for such a long period in the fridge will decrease their viability.

Go ahead and pot them up or root directly in ground now, out of direct sunlight.  There is still plenty of time for them to develop a strong root system before the weather turns cold.
