Since I am new to figging I want to meet those near me (near thousand oaks) who are into figs. Anyone in western LA county or eastern Ventura county?

Greetings from San Diego County!  You're actually in a good spot for meeting LA/Ventura County fig growers on this forum.  And you're really close to Tyro the Figo Preto King.  lol...  He really is a good source of fig trees and knowledge about how to grow them in SoCal. 

Let me know if you are ever in San Diego area. I'm about as far down as you can go. I'm a couple exits from Mexico :D Nice and warm with ocean breeze.
