Source for Good Fig Plants

Can anyone recommend a good source to purchase large, healthy fig plants? I'll need to have the shipped to me. I wanted a Violette de Bordeaux for this year, but my cuttings aren't looking so good.

"Just Fruits and Exotics" has a good selection.

It maybe easier if we knew where you're located, if you want a good size tree there may be someone near you

I agree JF&E, has nice healthy large trees. But cost and shipping are higher. My Petit Negra I got from Raintree is one of my favorites and healtthy, it's a kissing cousin of VdB.  Raintree's Flanders, Brown Turkey, and Desert King are not healthy, or at least they weren't in the past. Hartman's nursery sells a good size Hardy Chicago for a good price with shipping.

Try the DWN suppliers like peaceful valley or bay laurel.

I live by Omaha, Nebraska.

Thanks for the input guys!

Yes.
You can buy 1 gallon trees from me for $25. Shipping should be about $13.
I usually just sell on Craig's List locally and have sold over 700 trees in N. VA alone in the last few years, but as I have recently moved 90 miles further south I'm more willing to ship.
I normally take orders this time of year and have starts ready for April/May.
I do, though, have about 100 trees ready to sell. I will make another 2 to 3 hundred in the next week or two.
I get visitors from all over the country and they are always welcome.
I have an extensive collection of cold hardy varieties (about 40-50 of my 275 varieties are cold hardy) and if you are in zone 5A you'll need early ripeners even if you are bringing in for the winter.
Good Luck,
mgg
