Staten Island Fig Fest Trading Post...

I am planning to attend the Staten Island Fig Fest and I have some trees looking to trade...

I have they all in one gallon Pots.

 Col De Dam Blanc
 Niagara Black
 Valle Negra
 Sister Madeline's Green Greek

Looking for I-258 and Sbai or any Palestinian fig..

I'll be going and have arranged to bring a couple trees to sell that have been previously ordered. I don't want to put up a table or anything, mainly because I've never been to the venue and don't know what is appropriate. However, I could bring more figs upon request. I have 4-5' tall U. Greek Yellow AD and U. Orangeburg in 3 gallon pots (single stem). I also have a bunch of varieties in 15 gallon pots. Those are shorter but with multiple stems. I have U. Spadafora Yellow, U. Carini RG, and a few more I can't remember off the top of my head. I have over 50 varieties air layering right now but unfortunately I think they need a few more weeks. They are in clear cups so I can closely monitor progress. You can find me wearing my new "NJ Fig Farm" shirt. Aaron

Aaron, would you have a Naples dark?

Sure do. I've got Naples Dark and Prosciutto both in 3 gallon pots. 18-24" tall multi stem. $25 each or trades.

Aaron, Save me the Prosciutto along with the Rossa di Traini

You Got it Lebmark!

Save me the Naples dark.

This is going to be a great event and I wish that I could make it but being on a Friday evening and my having to travel from Putnam County, NY down toward the City and across the bridges after work and through Friday traffic would be an exercise of incredible frustration... One would not think that traveling the distance from home to Bass's place for his gathering would be easier but that is a fact...

The Address for the event

The Veranda

I wish I could make it also. A weekday is really hard.

Lebmark, the Proscuitto is a great fig! I just had one about a week ago

 Very pretty inside too.

Aaron's varieties are great! I have several and will make room for more.

Mike

Aaron,

Do you remember if you sent Mario a Rossa di Triani?

If so I'll bug him, lol. I got a Proscuitto from him last year. Thank you.

Mike

Thanks Mike...
Hope you can attend next year...it should be on Saturday...

That sounds great!

It will definitely be a priority.

:)! Mike

No, I don't remember. I do have some air layering and will have cuttings in the fall.

Aaron is this the Italian variety that Paolo has at Pomona Gardens?

I introduced Prosciutto in 2015/2016. I would not know if they were the same. I don't know Paolo or Pomona Gardens.

Now I wish there were the same.

Hey guys! I'll have two cuttings that just rooted for trade or giveaway! They're both unknowns but very hardy as they stay out year round in zone six. 1) I'm calling unknown Greek diner green and 2) I'm calling unknown Sicilian purple. Talk to you soon!

Sorry I missed the festival, any pictures? I was at a wedding in NC. While I was gone 30 paw paws ripened so vito and Danny if you guys are around let's eat some paw paws.

welcome Back Ed,
it was a successful event we had fun...the hardcore was there, they asked about you.
I enjoyed it...
hope to see you next year...
it should be on Saturday.

Hi Ed
Welcome back, we all missed you. Thank you for the offer on the paw paw, I left Staten Island this morning.
Hopefully next year. (Angelo sent you his regards)
