There is a problem I hadn't thought of! By the time I up pot my older trees, and start cuttings, I have used two bales!
I keep it in the garage, ensuring the bag is completely closed up.
Handle the bag as you would a 12-oz container of ground coffee:cut open a small section, scoop out what you need, close-uppromptly and store in a dry location.
Go outside and sing to the bale and rub the top gently. That will do it! LOL!, How bout those figs!!!!

I keep it dry, that's it.
