Sucrette Cutting Help

I have a bunch of cuttings I am trying to root. I had an ok success rate. Two big fat Sucrette cuttings grew out leaves and formed a few roots but once the warm weather hit a few of the leaves started to get soft. I know the problem is not lack of water. Any help or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks

I would put them in a shaded area, slow down on watering and keep them there until I see active growth. I recently transplanted a cutting with little roots on it. It immediately wilted and looked like it wasn't going to make it. Within a week all the original leaves are dead, but new leaves are forming.
