How bout those figs!!!!!!

Oh no man, I'm telling you no offense taken I want people to be honest and give their opinions it's the only way to learn, I took zero offense to your comments literally zero, I have no problem people giving their opinions it's a free country after all! lol seriously no problem, and thanks, I hope it is a unknown and it get confirmed in the future, and if not no problem and if it is confirmed as a Celeste I'm happy with that outcome too, I've amassed an awesome collection so far with black Madeiras and Galicia negra, I'm ok if it's just a common fig! But I gotta tell ya it taste amazing!
Thanks for the apology but none needed!

I call it the Scarlett Unknown, after my daughter! The flavor of this fig is unbelievable! It's a dark fig, with a dark red interior, and is medium in size, Def one of my top five! It's a winner all around, it's hard to start to get rooted, but once it roots it roots strong, the mother tree is absolutely loaded with figs! I successfully rooted 2 of about 10 cuttings. I can't wait for others to try it!

How about the Scarlett Mist, Scarlett Mistry, Scarlet Kiss, Scarlett Seduction, Scarlett Embrace, or Scarlet Whisper....

Don't be mislead by the color. It's a hardy chicago type. Not a celeste. That fig in the pictures was picked prematurely. If it's on the tree for another 2-3 days it will turn black. Celeste does not have a berry taste like Justin is saying nor is celeste a dark fig. Justin says it tastes like Angelo's Dark.. well that's because Angelo's Dark is also a Hardy Chicago type. The leaves are a dead giveaway.

I was in your cultivars list, what's a rubadao like? Sounds great!

In my honest opinion there is NO way to tell what Family it came from. As far as Leaves go, they can be so different on the same Fig Tree. Actually, I think we should not care what it is or from, as long as it taste good. Btw it's a nice looking Fig : )
