Yes they are delicious ,for Breba,about the size of a Quarter coin,some larger.

Here are 5 more fruits from same tree ,as I decided to install net,on the tree because cat birds damage every one if not.

Thanks to Herman advise on the good attributes of TV, I moved plant to green house. It produced many main crop figs in a hurry. Many are about thumb nail size or larger. The breba looks very delicious. I can look forward to enjoying them for the 1st time soon.

No,I am not going to rate it ,because ,if I rate it 10 then,I find another one better and,I can't rate it better ,than 10.
If you like fig fruits this will not disappoint you.
As for  breba producer,yes,I never had another one to produce 30 Breba figs ,that will ripe.
It started with 40 breba in Spring and 10 never grew,just fell,but the rest of them are  maturing.
Edit note:My Climate is notorious for ,making  fig tree drop ,fruits before maturity,all Celeste Drop,and this year Southern Brown Turkey from J R also started dropping immature main crop, fruits.
Keep in mind this is  an inground tree that  resisted 10F,last Winter,without protection,for Days in a row.
And   is only 5 years old,and 8 foot tall.

Nice job VS!  You know VS, Tacoma Violet does not get the recognition it deserves!  It is one of the richest figs I've ever tasted for a common fig.  I planted one in my orchard but it doesn't get that much sun.  But I have 4 or 5 in huge pots and they put out!

More Breba fruits from Tacoma Violet.
Despite ,8 inches of rain 2 days ago,and 3 inches of rain last night.they are edible good taste,tho they do not look the right color,but nor should they look the best in this kind of climate.

Dennis, re. the Takoma Violet that you have planted in the ground that doesn't get very much sun - is it productive anyway?  How does the flavor compare to ones you have in containers?  Thanks.

Herman, thanks for reporting on this fig - mine is too young to fruit yet so I'll know what to expect in the future.

Steve, it is still productive.  THose in containers and those in the ground have the exact same growing rate for me.  BUt I'm getting ready to start giving all my trees weekly fish emulsion in a few days.  I just want to test my a theory.  THey are a very rich tasting fig, which is why I have so many of them.

Dennis, I was under the impression that fertilizing figs at this point will cause growth spurts and new vegetation that may not be very hardy come the winter. Herman, I think I heard that from you!

I got a Takoma Violet at the Fig Party, and it is coming along, though seems to be kind of a slow grower. I am looking forward to figs from this one (and all the rest, for that matter).
