No no.. Breva and LP are different figs- NOT THE SAME THING! LP is San Pedro .. Breva not!
Here LP's from a previous year still on the tree. Easy to realize they are not the same fruit.

By the way... talked this morning to a friend and he confirms that plenty  Lampeiras may already be seen in Tavira
Given the warm mild weather they ripening a bit ahead of time!

thank you for the clarification, I will definitely check out the market in Tavira next week!

The thing is, in Spanish the Breba crop is also referred to as "Breva" so I could have been eating Brebas from any cultivar...But hey, they still are super early this year! :)

Price shown on yr picture seems to be € 7.50/Kilogram...

LP in Tavira was  € 6.0/K.. averaging 8 to 10  figs per Kilo
