Thanks and Black Madera

Hi Guys

First of all I would like to thank all the very nice people on the forum for your advice and suggestions, I'm new here and everyone has been so good at giving me tips and advice not to mention all that I've learned from reading past posts.

I started My Fig adventures last year in May and I can't get enough

I live in Toronto Canada and I'm now looking for a Black Madera tree hopefully from someone in Canada to avoid all the border crossing crap.

I'll am willing to pay of course.

My rooting skills are average to below average (about 15% success) so I wouldn't risk a Black Madera cutting because I have learned they are very hard to root

Thanks in advance
Richard

You should take a look at Brugmansia Quebec,

Thanks for the great recommendation. They have a lot of different varieties unfortunately they are sold out of Black Madera.

Have you tried Adriano.

Yes I called Adriano yesterday. I've read so much about his figs, I've always wanted to visit and check out his collection. I was hoping to pick up a black madera and do that at the same time. Unfortunately he said Black Madera is sold out and doesn't know when it will become available again. He said it's a very popular fig!

I'm still looking for Black Madeira if anybody has one for sale.

Richard,

Hopefully Brugmansia will have Black Madeira plants next year.  I ordered one last november or early december and then in May I had to choose something else or get my money refunded.  Unfortunately I didn't ask Dany what happened.

Good luck in getting one.
