Three cultivars got ripe fruits here: they are:

The Vasilika Syka I am talking about is the real one,it has shorter fruits and thicker finger on leaves ,in my opinion Identical to Green Greek that Dennis Johnson, and Tam,grow,(but what do I know!),I am not going to contradict anyone.
Itn is not the one with long finger like Dalmatie.

Herman2,

Your regular updates are really appreciated and are valuable.

Improved Celeste made first 2 ripe fruits main crop today.
They are my first ripe fruits this Summer except for 2 Breba fruits ,Malta Black made, about August 5.
They were sweet but not the best the plant can do.
No picture, they need to be punished.LOL
This Spring,on April 30 we had a period of frosty days and,all my trees are retarded from growing,so they are late to ripe again.
I am happy they started, and wish, the Fall is going to be warm long and dry.
It did happen that the Autumn was long hot and dry,in 1997,when i had ripe fruits trough November and beginning of December, even after leaf fall, they kept ripening.

Yesterday I had a bunch of Improved Celeste ripe fruits, here are the pixies of my tree this year.
Much better tasting than the fruits i had a week ago.:

I also had 4 ripe Malta Black fruits (no pix) LOL because, my dogs ate them,as, they were on lower branches.LOL

Good haul you got there. Look so yummy.

It is good to have the dog to protect your figs from critters. A few figs for doggie is a small price to pay.

I was fortunate enough to get two IC airlayers from a neighbor's tree this year. One was loaded with figs that I decided to leave on because of the masive root ball. After potting I made sure the plants had plenty of fert to support the figs.

Two or three of the figs have ripened. The taste was really good. I am glad I have added the IC to my collection.

I have a celeste but its tiny. Looking forward to fruit some day:-). Yours looks excellent! Ah, those dogs got a goooood treat! Funny but dogs do like fruit. My Dalmation used to like carrots, apples & more!

I have had a few Sal's Corleone and also the found fig that I call 7th St. (probably a VdB) ripen up.  The largest and most beautiful fig was snatched up and eaten by a granddaughter.  The smaller ones were good, and it looks to be a good year so far.
