I just watched Charleots Webs, I don't care how old you are, that is a great movie.:)).
Well I have 2 questions on transplanting, the first is How often should I transplant a fig
tree from a pot to another pot. The second is Can I transplant to the same pot, or does it
have to be a bigger pot. its a Chicago Hardy in a 7-10 gal pot. the one on the right .

Out of my personal experience, I'd say to repot every other year and yes you can repot to the same pot as long as you trim the root system creating space to fill up with new dirt.
Off course, this is something you can only do once the figs are in dormancy, which in my climate is after Nov 15-isch and before March.
