Thought I would share my U. Naples Yellow. I am not sure its really a U. Naples Yellow because it doesn't look like the picture Aaron posted. The fig was very good despite the heavy rain and mild splitting. I have another breba that didn't split so I am going to leave in on the plant for a couple of days to see if there is any change in taste. The taste was a mixture of berry and honey. This was one of the few figs that didn't drop any breba this spring with the cold rainy weather we had. Has anyone else gotten any fruit from ADelmanto's Unknowns?
Those colors are amazing.Taste the rainbow!Very unique.
It's really beautiful, are there any other figs you've seen with a similar color pattern? I'll be curious to see what the color change will be in a few days!
The exterior looks right but that interior does not look familiar. I've only seen main crop, so maybe the breba is different. I'm not really sure. Thanks for posting. I know a few people have seen fruit on a few varieties.
Sure does look like the Lampeira Prusch to me.
I will post the main crop for comparison when they ripen. Either way the figs a keeper!
Is that the breba crop or main crop?
That's breba crop, Becky.
Gary, Wow that does look very similar! Thanks for sharing the picture.
Looks like an interesting fig! Do you have a leaf photo and possibly a main crop fig photo?My Dottato Unk also has that purple rainbow pulp look these are brebas;
Wow, intense looking fig. Unk Naples Yellow is a fig which has been on my radar since Aaron posted the first picture a year or two ago. So many lucrative fig trees, ugh.
Incredible picture, I have several of his plants growing, but will probably not get any fruit until next year. Keep you/me posted, Mike
