Just Rooted nothing to report yet.
Natalina BI, U. Italian Yellow BI , U. Yellow Greek AD, U. South Plainfield, U. Orangeburg Prosciutto, Naples Dark , Azores Dark, Columbaro Nero, De La Tira, I376, Des Roig Manyo , Greek Church U. Smith , any in ground figs for zone 6.

Aaron has some really nice unknowns! I just wish there were more pictures of the fruit out there. These could be gems in the rough for all we know!

Last year was the first year I introduced it. It is a really good one. I find that around me the unknowns are all good because they were intentionally planted. They were the best varieties from where the immigrants came from. Someone took great pride in these and I'm passing that along.

Currently rooting 5 different varieties from ADelmanto. Hands down the most vigorous root growth of any cutting I'd tried before. Specifically the Prosciutto and Naples Dark. Of the 15 I started, 2/3 were well rooted inside 2 weeks. I'm very impressed. I think I'm 13/15 now and lots of time left....

Second the Naples Dark. I just upped 2 from 18oz cups to 1 gallon pots today along with unk Portuguese Yellow.

Aaron, I have quite a few of your unknowns, purchased at a very reasonable price. You could have hyped up the great unique and totally different taste, promoted them as very very very rare and made only a few cuttings available....etc. etc..etc... but you didn't. You truly are the figman(person) that every member needs. Everyone should take your lead in that you REALLY want everyone to enjoy the figs that you have found and are not trying to make a living off someone else's tree. You are a good figster Aaron! Thanks from all of us.

I received the U. Prosciutto last winter and it grew like crazy, and it even produced figs but I ran out of warm weather to ripen them. I expect to get figs this coming summer. I couldn't resist picking up a couple more varieties this winter but I am waiting to start them because I don't want them to out grow of there winter home.
, Dessert King, Celeste, Green Ischia, Marseilles VS, Kathleen's Black, Red Sicilian, Adriatic JH, Violetta bayerfeinge, New Brunswick, Magnolia and Italian Honey.

I like the unknowns a lot too. I have a few, but none of these. At this time I have way too many fig trees. I would love to grow more, but my wife is about ready to kick me out. She does not care for figs at all. Luckily the raspberries and peaches I grow keep here happy, and the 25 fig trees can stay for now!
