I'm back! Been traveling quite a bit. Left the figs alone over the past weeks. The birds have been enjoying them all. I did pick a few Hardy Chicago, Pananas Purple, Don Fortis, Owensboro, Black Ischia, Black Jack, CdDG, Beall, White Italian, Sal's Corleone, Improved Celeste, Black Greek, Tx Evb, Negronne and others. But there was one fig that stood out from them all---and I only got one fig from the airlayer. It was from my Unknown Red fig. This fig was very rich tasting with honey oozing from the eye. They was a large gob of honey in the center. This fig was very sweet.

I got this fig from a lady in Concord. It's from the same lady that sold me the black fig. I posted pics from her tree. Today I have 2 trees and boy am I lucky. I wish I knew what this fig is. I know it's not brown turkey or Celeste. It's almost seedless!

Maybe Herman2 or Dr Leon knows what this fig is?

The exterior/shape reminds me of Red Sicilian. The interior reminds me of an English Brown Turkey.

I can not say for sure ,because the first fruits are not what the plant is going to produce when mature.
Also the leaves shape will change.
My opinion looking at this only one ripe fruit,is the same as Ross in the post below,but ,i have doubt,that i am right this time.
One thing is sure.
Plant seem to be adapted to rainy climates like SE of USA,where others sour.

Leaves aside.. the fruit actually reminds me of Sweet George.. I'm willing to bet this is very closely related to English Brown Turkeys.

Looks like Neveralla except the leaves are 3 lobed instead of 5.  What does the  mother tree leaves look like?

The mother tree is the smaller tree on right. Tree has 5 and 3 lobes. But it's not Celeste for sure.
