Uttaree Raaja /Northern King?

Does anyone know anything about this fig? I tried some searches and couldn't find anything. Pitangadiego has a number of unique and unusual varieties which he offers as cuttings on eBay that must have great stories behind them but they're not described anywhere, even on his Fig Varietal Info website. It's a mystery.

I'm very interested in this one as well. Was not able to find anything last time he had this one.

This is a selected seedling, grown at Encanto Farms. Figs are yellow skinned with a pink/red interior and have a fruity flavor with a hint of something maple-like.
I have pictures somewhere, but haven't prepped them for the Figs 4 Fun website, yet. It was temporarily called Raja North because it grew up near my Raja Puri banana, and was one of three seedling that grew up together. It sets a lot of fui8t and ripens mid-later season. For me, it will be a keeper. It has never been offered before. It is common.

Jon, if I can be so bold as to ask, how does this compare to Samoa Sunshine?

Jon, thank you for the description. It sounds both pretty and tasty. You probably have the most interesting collection of fig tree varieties around. I know you're busy but it would be nice to have a brief description such as the one you've just given when you surprise us with these new and rare selections -especially when there are no pictures.
