Nice.... Congratulations! That was a beautiful specimen of MR and IMHO, I actually think that you got it at a bargain price considering the quality you are getting.... If you monitor e-Bay, you would have seen some awesome auctions for quality figs end over the last few days with the auctions ending for considerably more dollars. The MR is a beautiful looking fig that a number of members have posted pictures of this year and your plant, I think, is going to bring you great happiness.... Again, congratulations and enjoy!

FYI the rootsock is from seedlings grown last year. They are the most vigorous and will only accelerate growth. That MR will get big quick and probably produce next year. Congrats
