Hi

Looking for cuttings of Vasilika Sika, will do the usual trade, $. Well may not, just found out it maybe the same as Stella and I have a small Stella in pot as of today..

This should be an interesting thread.
According to several postings here there appears to be several Vasilika Sika in circulation and to me they don't look similar at all. 
I am not clear which is the true VS.

I believe the one that looks like Stella (with finger like leaves) is not.
I remember seeing some comments about this made by our Greek friends.

There is a fig called Vasilika Sika (at least in the states) that is similar to Stella but a bit different.  If you have Stella already and space is limited then you might want to opt for something that will give you more variety.  There is another variety also called Vasilika Sika that also has green skin with red pulp but the similarity seems to end there.  According to Herman2 and others the 2nd one is the fig that is typically called Vasilika Sika in Greece.  If you search the forum there are multiple threads on this.
