My wife and I headed to visit Charitup (Goss)  and after sampling about 20 cultivars fig we toted up we got to some serious Raspberry pickin. Goss has wonderful orchard started at the home place he grew up at. Beautiful place in the mountains with acres and acres to to grow about everything. I just can't figure out why it took him 60 years to get figgin up there:)

What a great time.  Got to spend time with Mrs Strudeldog and get to know Mr. and Mrs. much better.  Had wonderful fig tasting thanks to their generosity.  Never tasted so many figs at one time before.  If I remember correctly 23 varieties.   I only had 2 varieties of Raspberries to offer and can only hope they enjoyed the time together as much as I did.  By the way a neice and nephew showed up to pick some more after you guys left.

Thank you so much and I believe we need to do it again sometime.

Blessings

Very berry nice you guys. Goss, sounds like you have a wonderful orchard in the mountains. It doesn't get much nicer than up there
in my book.
