You could tell a lot about how well your trees will do based on how well the mother tree does in your zone.
The name is of little importance. Some of my best figs are unknowns, and were given names mainly to be able to track the source.

My Palestine tree came from a cutting from a huge old tree. He has two trees there that were over 20 feet tall. If I go by there again, I will have to do a video of the mother tree. When I got the cutting last summer it was loaded with figs.
