Looks great

Aside from the maturity of the tree, has the crazy Mid-west heat helped push the tree further along?

Your tree looks nice and full. Unfortunately I let mine get a bit too tall and it needs to be cut back in the fall. I'm getting lots of figs, but my tree doesn't look as densely foliated as yours. Good job Mr Martin

Looks like you got the midas touch when it comes to fig trees. Nice shape and loaded with figs. Send me some of your luck!

Nicely shaped and healthy tree, Martin.  I like the way you let the bottom branches form.  Looks great!

I have two, two year old, VdB that are coming along well, and have a few fruits this year.  I'll try to shape them, as you did, next year.

Tony ok i try.  ; )

BlB this tree always grew well i noticed.

Nypd, for me the heat basically helps wake them up earlier so once they leaf out i can start to fertilize them good for vegatative growth the earlier the better so i can then start to nip the branch ends and get them to start the fig embryo growth.

Vegatative wise there at crawl as i keep the branch ends pinched and i no longer fertilize so they concentrate on the figs and not growth.

Edit:
Nus that my biggest at 30g

Thanks Cecil,  i feel they deserve the credit im just there caretaker and more so for the young ones cause they can be stubborn trying to show the elders they can hang onto to there leaves longer when it gets cold out so i step in .
