Someone speculated that this was similar to Bourjassotte Grise. Are you growing that one, Leon?

I got rid of BG years back because of fruit drop. I do not recall similarities between the two.

Compare to photos of my VS (2016)and leaves. Both the figs and the leaves are very different. VS is not the same as BG.

Here in Niagara we have had a cool wet spring and summer so the black brebas have not started to ripen yet.
