Depends on their condition coming into the season, but for zone 6, I'm thinking main crop typically appear around June. sometimes May.  If more start forming from now on, they may not ripen in time, depending on the variety.

I'm not holding out hope for anything to ripen that develops after next week since it takes about 3-4 months for the figs to ripen after they first appear.

As Frank said, when they appear depends on the conditions. Whether they are in ground or potted, protected, shuffled back and forth to the garage during the start of the season, died back, etc.

I'm in 5b/almost 6a. The last 3-4 weeks I have had figlets show up. About July 15th is my cutoff date. Anything that forms after that I will pull. I will do the shuffle with a few but not everything.

Search on pinching.  It might be a little late or it might still help.

I have figlets formed on more in ground fig trees, in zone 6:
- Black Cartagena, from South of Spain, figlets started on early june, quite early to ripen
- Brunswick, from France, first figlets stated to grow in june, this takes longer to ripen,
as far as I know

Here are they usually starting to forming main crop figs at the middle of june, or early june ,
but it depends of the variety and the weather condition of the year.
The earliest former here is the michurinska 10.
