Hello everyone!
I'm getting ready to start shipping lots of 1 gallon starters and just wanted to ask around where you buy your shipping boxes, etc. I found esupplystore.com to be cheaper than uline. Also, would 10x10x24 boxes work for the most part?
Thanks!

i don't buy them. i save all the cardboard boxes. if there is one that will fix, i'll use that. if not i'll make a new one out of bigger box.

8x8x24 works well for 1 gallon pots.

This is good for me to learn about too since I've decided to avoid having a cash-n-carry nursery out of our Bergen County 50x100 until I retire. I'll try the web page and ebay sales route once I get my fig forest growing

Ryan, There is no need to buy boxes. The USPS will deliver to your door free of charge boxes. I use the shoe box (see link). A 1 gallon fits in the box perfectly as long as the top is less than 10". You put newspaper in the top of the pot and tape it in which holds the soil in. Because I have a lot of bamboo I put in two pencil size pieces shoved in to the pot edge on opposite sides and they go all the way to the bottom of the pot. I then cut the bamboo off level with the top of the box, close and tape the lid. The plant can't move side to side as the gallon pot takes up the entire box and can't move up and down because of the bamboo. Works like a dream. I ordered 500 boxes, a lifetime supply:) Come up and get some lol and bring the black Ischia. https://store.usps.com/store/browse/uspsProductDetailMultiSkuDropDown.jsp?categoryNav=false&navAction=jump&navCount=0&productId=P_0_SHOEBOX&categoryId=subcatMSS_PriorityMail

I love those shoe boxes from the PO that WillsC mentioned , at least for the short plants.

Used to save some from model train purchases and or free different size priority mailing boxes. No need anymore.
