My thanks again to all the members of the happy fig community here that has shared knowledge and cuttings so generously.  I am so thrilled to report that I am actually eating figs from my own yard!  I originally sought out the forum for help ripening figs before the frost, now with pinching and perhaps adaptation to the local environment, I am actually ripening figs now.  Hope you are all enJoying the fruits of your sweet labors.  CHeers, Jodi

Good for you Jodi! Pinching will increase you Figs and branching also. ; )

Oh it has been so fun to eat figs from my own trees, even if they are not any of the special ones yet.  I have 25 varieties in ground and another 25 more to plant over the next couple of weeks.  Yay for figs and figgy friends.  Thanks to you all.  Hope your gardens are happy and productive all.  Cheers, Jodi
