I found this when looking on eBay at cuttings for sale.  One of the people who is listed as a "watch out!" person, often selling brooklyn white (or whatever) figs has this linked to all of their auctions.

I actually did find it on his ebay listing. The video is very discouraging to root any cuttings. It will make people change their mind on bidding.

Im GUILTY but please don't throw tomato's at me just your ripe figs !

: )

In past i have stuck branches amongst my Hostas and similar to his they lost there leaves the top part turn ugly and dies but it does root at least they did for me . What i like to do though in the pot of parent tree is take a  " J"  hook that the chain link fence guys left laying around when fence was installed and with my fingers make a trench use the " J " hook to hold the sucker in the trench  and leave a few leaves sticking out as i cover the rest back up with soil and keep it moist. The leaves and sucker will continue to grow after a while i gently move the soil with my hand to see any roots coming off of it. When there are enough i severe it and leave it there still until i feel its ok to dig it out and pot it. Did this with several last season and it worked for me very well. The plant you see under my name is one of them i did this with.
Whats nice though is you can really abuse these things and they still have a fighting chance.

I posted this video of ''Dr. Health'' a while back. A guess this is another way to do it. I just hope this ebay scammer will not link to my video...
