First DLR for this summer. There are larger figs on the tree and this could have waited another day or two but exceptional flavor. Very productive tree. Looking forward to more of these.

How would you compare the taste to Kathleen's Black, Maltese Falcon, Mission, etc...

I can only compare to Mission and to my taste buds, this tastes a lot better than Mission. By the way, in some way this may resemble Mission because of the dense pulp but it is not Mission by any means.
