Hi Fotula, I was very kind from your son to offer you a fig tree! Unfortunately, it would be very hard to guess at this stage since it has no fruits. Furthermore, even if it had figs the variety could not be guaranteed at a 100%. I hope the figs will taste great and that you will enjoy this fig tree even if it is unknown.

Hi Fotula, Welcome as i see its your first posting here. As you tree gets more mature this season take more pictures and post em. Eventually the fruit it produces along with the leaves will help some members get a better idea of what you may have there. Do you have any idea the area it may have came from or have son ask the man who gave it to him where he obtained it from maybe someone brought the parent plant from another country for starters . Sometimes some backround info along with mature leaves and fruit narrow it down .

Thank You for the Welcome Dieseler....when my son bring home lots of branges from the fig tree...like i say he was working for a trim tree company...i was so happy ...you see im greek and fig trees is my love...i did manage too get rootting couple off branges...at first i see roots and then the brange have 2 little figs on...and then the leaves start ...the figs grow like almond size and the drop from the brange..so far the fig trees i have here at home....not one have the same leave shape like this one....for sure im going to take more pictures as the tree grow and post them...Again Thank You...
